Thanks for stoppin’ by! Around here, food’s all about comfort, family, and a good laugh while you’re cookin’. I’ll be sharin’ some of my favorite recipes—simple, hearty, and wicked tasty. Nothin’ too fancy, just the kind of stuff you’d wanna sit down and eat after a long day.
I grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts, and have carried memories from Boston to Fall River, which once seemed like a small town and now feels more like Providence RI. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to explore much of New England and watch it change, with a special love for the South Coast. There’s something magical about this region—the salty ocean air at the beaches, the fiery reds and golds of fall foliage, the pride and patriotism that seems to be everywhere, and of course, the wicked good local food. Cooking has always been my way of showing love. I carry on some Portuguese traditions from my grandmother, though most of my dishes are classic American comfort food. I wouldn’t call myself a chef—I’m a wife and mother first—but I take joy in feeding my family and sharing meals that bring us together. I avoid seafood, shellfish, and limit soy due to sensitivities, so my cooking reflects what works best for us. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I strive to create a home full of warmth, laughter, and good food, celebrating both simple everyday moments and the beauty of the New England life I cherish.
